Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo
Monte Carlo, Monaco
In 1886, the « Monte Carlo Hotel Company Ltd » built Hotel Metropole on land which previously belonged to Pope Leon XIII. Soon after, the most demanding international clientele was won over by the unostentatious luxury of this quiet hotel built in the “Belle Époque” style. In 2004, the Metropole Palace sold the hotel to its successor: Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo, which became a modern hotel with strong heritage. Its new image combines its glorious past with a Mediterranean freshness, a décor concept which meets the promise of the services proposed.
In the hotel’s main restaurant, Joël Robuchon, in partnership with Head Chef Christophe Cussac, offers a Mediterranean-accented, sophisticated and accessible cuisine, in which the emphasis is on the produce. The open Teppanyaki-style kitchen creates a special relationship between the Chef and the guests. The warm, inviting décor complements this unique experience which stimulates all the senses. The interior designer Jacques Garcia has elegantly designed the bar and lobby areas to create a warm and lively space where you can sit, read, taste a dish or meet up friends. Within a musical ambience created by Béatrice Ardisson, the bar is lively all day long. You can enjoy a wide selection of cocktails, teas, pastries and a food menu by Joël Robuchon. Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo does not stop there; the experience also includes Odyssey, which features a heated seawater swimming pool and Grecian mural designed by Karl Lagerfeld, beside Joël Robuchon’s third restaurant.
Monte Carlo boasts luxury entwined with adventure; the sister of Las Vegas, Monte Carlo is famous for its casinos, home to the Grand Prix and perfectly showcases opulence alongside nature’s finest work, showing off the Alps in the near distance. Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo effortlessly complements Monte Carlo’s best features, by offering a wide selection of packages to ensure you get the best Monte Carlo experience.
